The Great Mexican and American Drone War!

So, the gringos are now fighting mechanical mosquitoes with space-age lasers. As the Pentagon brags about vaporizing over three hundred cartel drones along the border this year, our illustrious Presidenta, Claudia Sheinbaum, stands in her gilded palace delivering her Second Government Report, painting a fairytale of peace and "moral economy." How touching. Up in the sky, we have high-tech video games; down on the ground, we have bureaucratic poetry. But for the campesinos who genuinely sweat on the land, the truth remains a grim, tax-funded tragedy.

Let us look at these brilliant northern neighbors. The U.S. military deployed a fancy Multipurpose High Energy Laser system to shoot down cheap, plastic drones. In August alone, they zapped a hundred of them! Truly, a magnificent triumph of a million-dollar laser defeating a six-hundred-dollar toy bought on the internet. Of course, they also managed to vaporize their own Border Patrol drone and a few runaway party balloons along the way. Such precision!

Meanwhile, the cartels do not care; they just order more drones online. Back in Mexico City, Sheinbaum reads her second-year report and wants us to believe things are "bueno". Yet, most Mexicans are screaming that security is in the toilet. Her "humanismo mexicano" is just a new coat of paint on the same old federal disregard. You cannot eat macroeconomic stability when the cartel is knocking on your door to steal your harvest.

The solution to our misery will never come from gringo death-rays or Palace spreadsheets. True safety is born from the soil up. If you want to end the cartel plague, stop trying to police the sky with foreign machinery and stop writing reports. Give the land back to the campesinos, trust the local communities, and let the pueblos organize their own defense. A community with Tierra y Libertad—and the right to defend it—will clear out criminals faster than any trillion-dollar laser.
